The CUPID/32 Motherboard has seven bus expansion slots, operating at an
industry standard 8MHz, 1 wait state. Slot one is an 8-bit slot; slots two &
three are standard 16-bit slots; slot four is standard 16-bit with the
addition of a 32-bit proprietary memory bus (P-BUS); slots five & six also
include the 32-bit P-BUS, and are 16-bit AST SMARTslots, which allow for
multimaster capabilities; slot seven is a 16-bit AST SMARTslot. All bus slots
will accept 8-bit adapter boards, and slots 2-7 will accept standard 16-bit
adapters. Slot four is recommended for the Processor board with slots five and
six available for AST 32-bit RAMcards (P/N 202275-00x).

This motherboard comes standard with two serial ports and one parallel port.
Also standard are connections for three floppy drives and up to two
AT-Imbedded type hard drives. Configuration for all ports and drives is done
in CMOS set-up, and there are no switches or jumpers that affect them.
