Premium/386-25 & -16SX Memory Board AST Part Number 202275-001
Premium/386-33 Memory Board AST Part Number 202275-002

This adapter is a memory enhancement product designed exclusively for AST
systems using the CUPID/32 motherboard. It offers from one to sixteen
megabytes of additional RAM, using AST 1MBx32 bit Single Inline Memory Modules
(SIMMs). The AST Part Number for the SIMMs are 500718-001.

MEMORY INSTALLATION

Because of the 32-bit architecture of the SIMMs, they can be added one at
a time. The banks on the memory board are numbered from 0 to 15. Any
SIMMs added to the adapter should be installed lowest numbered bank
available. Make sure that the Memory Board is installed in one of the BUS
slots that allows 32-bit access (slot 5 or 6).

SWITCH SETTINGS

    SW1-1 - Parity Checking
This should remain ON at all times

    SW1-2 - Compatibility Switch
If there is less than 16MB of total system memory, leave SW1-2 in the
default OFF position. Set this to ON only if system memory is 16MB or
more AND an operating system is being used that recognizes 16MB, such
        as OS/2 or XENIX.

    SW1-3 - N/A

    SW1-4 thru SW1-8 - Starting Address
These switches should be set to the number of Megabytes of RAM that
have been installed in the system BEFORE this memory board:

addressing its memory. DO NOT INCLUDE RAM ON THE MEMORY BOARD
TO ARRIVE AT THE AMOUNT. It is not necessary to set the amount
