RELEASE NOTES

During our thorough Systems Assurance testing, the following
inconsistencies were reported.

A) Due to the nature of the resistive digitizer used on the Point 510,
an extra step is required when using the Writing Palette to input
   data to an application.

On the Point 510, the correct procedure for using Writing Palette is:
   1. Open both the target application and then Writing Palette.
   2. Tap the window of the target application.
   3. Tap the title bar of Writing Palette (see Note).
   4. Ink in Writing Palette for handwriting recognition.
   5. Press the "checkmark" button to send data to the target application.

On the Stylistic 1000 and Stylistic 1200, step 3 is not required.

B) Because of the nature of the resistive digitizer, the minimum delay
for handwriting recognition is approximately 2 seconds.
